In a world where fatherhood often takes a back seat, InvolvedDad is working to change that. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, they are dedicated to empowering fathers with the tools and support they need to be actively engaged in their children's lives.

Transforming Lives Through Fatherhood Engagement

Founded in 2015 by Shon Hart, InvolvedDad was born out of a realization: too many children grow up without a father figure. By offering legal assistance, mentorship programs, and parenting education, the organization is making a tangible impact on families across the country.

Programs Designed for Fatherhood Success

InvolvedDad offers structured programs tailored to help fathers in different situations:

  • IMPACT Program – A 15-week fatherhood course focused on family reunification, providing legal assistance, parenting skills, and child engagement opportunities.
  • SHIELD Program – A 26-week batterer intervention program aimed at helping men break the cycle of domestic violence and become better fathers and partners.

Sheriff Requests OSBI Investigation into Jail Incident Involving Sanko By Inquisitor Miami News-Digest MIAMI, Okla. — Ottawa County Sheriff David Dean has requested an independent investigation by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) into an incident involving an arrestee, Sanko, at the county jail. Sheriff Dean issued a press release stating that, at this time, it does not appear that Sanko was assaulted while in custody. In his statement, Sheriff Dean confirmed that an OSBI agent has been assigned to the case.
