OKLAHOMA CITY – A fugitive featured on Attorney General Gentner Drummond’s 10 Most Wanted list has been apprehended, marking a significant development in Oklahoma's pursuit of public safety.
On the evening of , Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrested Donovan Ray, 33, in Bryan County. Earlier that day, the 10 Most Wanted tipline received over 30 tips pinpointing his potential location.
Ray is facing charges in Atoka County for the 2017 rape of a 12-year-old girl and failure to register as a sex offender. His capture brings the total number of fugitives apprehended from the 10 Most Wanted list to seven since the program’s launch in September 2024.
“The fugitives on the 10 Most Wanted list are serious threats to public safety,” Drummond said. “The list is aimed at enlisting the help of Oklahomans so these individuals can face accountability for their alleged crimes.”
The Attorney General’s office offers financial rewards ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 for tips leading directly to arrests. Information about other fugitives can be found on the 10 Most Wanted page, and tips can be submitted by calling the hotline at 405-343-8107.
