NTHS Wellness Center Opens January 6

Miami, Oklahoma – The Northeastern Tribal Health System (NTHS) is proud to announce the grand opening of its state-of-the-art Wellness Center on January 6. Designed to promote health and wellness within the community, this facility offers a range of services to enhance both physical and mental well-being.

Exciting Features and Services

The Wellness Center is free to clinic patients, individuals with a Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB), employees of tribal-affiliated facilities, and veterans. Participants must provide proof of eligibility and complete a health application.

  • Fitness Center: Open Monday-Friday (5 AM - 8 PM) and Saturday (8 AM - 4 PM).
  • Healthy Living Program: Disease prevention and management services led by registered dietitians, diabetes educators, and licensed nurses.
  • Rehabilitation Services: Physical and Occupational Therapy with plans to add speech therapy in the future.
  • Water Therapy: A pool, scheduled to open in March, offering water aerobics and low-impact therapy.
