National Weather Service Tulsa Announces 2025 Storm Spotter Training – Miami, OK

As the 2025 storm season approaches, the National Weather Service (NWS) office in Tulsa is preparing to equip local communities with essential severe weather monitoring skills. The annual Storm Spotter Training sessions will begin in February, offering in-person training across eastern Oklahoma and northwestern Arkansas.

Training Overview

These sessions are designed to educate attendees on recognizing tornadoes and understanding storm structures, enhancing preparedness for extreme weather conditions. Topics include:
