City of Miami Welcomes Barnes and Wyrick to Leadership Team

The City of Miami has strengthened its administrative team with the addition of two experienced professionals to key leadership roles. Misty Fields Barnes has been named City Attorney, while Crystal Wyrick has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Misty Fields Barnes - City Attorney

Barnes, a 2008 Juris Doctorate graduate from the University of Tulsa College of Law, brings a wealth of legal experience. Her career highlights include serving as an Assistant District Attorney, operating a private criminal defense and family law practice, and earning the Clarence Darrow Award for her exceptional work in 2018. Barnes also served as City Attorney for Kellyville for five years, cementing her expertise in municipal law.


Crystal Wyrick - Chief Financial Officer

Wyrick, a 2003 graduate of Oklahoma State University with degrees in Agricultural Economics and Accounting, brings nearly two decades of financial management experience. She recently served as the Director of Commerce for the Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma and previously held the role of Comptroller for 15 years.
